Friday, May 22, 1992 Bosnia & Herzegovina’s flag was raised for first time at United Nations as a member of family of states. However, there had been a design to keep BiH from being admitted along Croatia & Slovenia, perhaps for moment or forever. Admission to UN was both symbolic of sovereignty & territorial integrity as well as substantive to legal rights & obligations under UN Charter & international law. –More–
