The best apology is to look frankly into the eyes of Srebrenica survivors and apologize but also offer all of BiH the welcome to the Euro-Atlantic family, for real.

BOSNIA THREATENED? & EUROPEAN ROAD MUTUALLY BLOCKED FOR SERBIA & KOSOVO, By Ambassador Muhamed Sacirbey
Serbia President Tomislav Nikolic’s offer of direct negotiations with Kosovo’s leadership but oath not to recognize its independence effectively leaves the matter stalemated & thus the road toward European integration effectively blocked for both.

Blog Report: WHAT HAPPENED TO KOSOVO & MACEDONIA? By Ambassador Mo
In strange twist, official UN Photo gallery didn’t provide any pictorial evidence of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon’s official visit to Kosovo, but also Macedonia (or as is still officially known at UN: “Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.”)  UNSG’s visit was seen as controversial at least in Belgrade. From our sources, we were told Belgrade’s displeasure forced a detour in the UNSG’s travel from Kosovo.

Blog Report: UNSG IN SERBIA – LOOKING FORWARD OR PAST? (PHOTO GALLERY) By, Ambassador Mo
UNSG Ban Ki-moon continued his tour of SE Europe with a stop in Belgrade. The UN”s relationship with Serbia continues to be complex in large part due to the unsettled situation of Kosovo. The UN continues to maintain a mission to Kosovo (UNMIK) – Some see such as leading to recognition of Kosovo’s independence & admission to the UN, while in Belgrade there is steadfast resistance. –More–

Blog Report: MOSCOW ASSERTS KOSOVO – SYRIA OPPOSITION LINKS? By Ambassador Mo
Syria’s Assad, Libya’s Gaddafi & Iraq’s Saddam Hussein maintained some of closest relationship with Milosevic’s Serbian Regime during war against Bosnia & Herzegovina (BiH). Moscow now will highlight purported links between Kosovo’s still fledgling government & Syria Opposition, both opposed by Russia & presumably endorsed by US & NATO allies.   Moscow has called for an extraordinary meeting of  UN Security Council. –More–

Blog Report: HAS KARADZIC COURT BECOME APOLOGISTS’ JUSTICE? By Ambassador Muhamed Sacirbey
It is not about Radovan Karadzic but those who legitimized his role then & now. The evidence against Karadzic also condemns the apologists for ethnic cleansing & those who continue to insist upon a future as well as map for Bosnia & Herzegovina carved via ethnic genocide throughout the whole country and not just Srebrenica. –More–

Blog Report:WILL SERBIA’S FOREIGN MINISTER’S ELECTION AS UN GA PRESIDENT DELIVER CHANGE? By Ambassador Mo
While vote was close of election of Serbia’s Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic for UNGA President, from my inside sources there was no real effort by western capitals to promote alternative Lithuanian candidate for last more than a month. As might be expected, there has been speculation about some sort of secret deal regarding Kosovo. –More–
